Armed Forces Day Freedom Ride Saturday in Springfield
The event will raise funds for disabled veterans and wounded warriors.

The Armed Forces Day Freedom Ride will come to Springfield on Saturday.
Del. Eileen Filler-Corn (D-41st District) will attend this fundraiser for emergency assistance for disabled veterans and wounded warriors. Attendees will be able to see military displays including the Wall of The Fallen, a tribute with the names of all those killed from Virginia.
Hardcore Choppers will show off their custom bikes, and singer-songwriter Sam Tate will perform at the event with other bands and vendors, at the American Legion Post 176, 6520 Amherst Ave. in Springfield. The event is free to the public, with donations of $15 for riders. For more information, visit www.ableforces.org.
