Obituaries: White House Volunteer, Grandmother Passes Away
Annandale residents Cora Evelyn Mosher and Olive Ann Clarke passed away recently.

Cora Evelyn Mosher, 91, passed away in her sleep on May 5. Mrs. Mosher grew up in the Great Depression era, and went to on to volunteer at the White House in her later years. She had two daughters and two grandchildren. Her funeral service will take place Monday, according to Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home. Olive Ann Clarke, 84, passed away on May 4 after a long illness. She was a mother to five children, 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She had worked at the Annandale Bowling Center and later as a cook at Annandale High School, according to her obituary from the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home.
