Police: Woman, 66, Assaulted, Robbed During Morning Walk

Fairfax County Police report that a 66-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed during a morning walk last week.

The woman was walking Monday, Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m. along the 7900 block of Sycamore Drive in Falls Church, just outside of Annandale. She was assaulted from behind and sustained a non-life threatening injury, according to police.

The woman was robbed of personal property and cash, police said. She could not provide police with a description of the suspect.
