Redskins Player Coming to Annandale, CROP Walk, Candidate Meet and Greet

Happy Monday, Annandale! Ready to kick off another week? Here's a look at five upcoming events in the next few days.

1. Washington Redskins Cornerback DeAngelo Hall will be in Annandale for a 90-minute meet and greet with fans at Collector's World in the Annandale Shopping Center Saturday from 12-1:30 p.m. Details here.
2. There will be a Domestic Violence Fundraiser Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at Kilroy's in Springfield, located at 5250 Port Royal Rd. The fundraiser will benefit Artemis House and CASA.
3. Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA) will host the annual Annandale CROP Hunger Walk at Lake Accotink Park Saturday. The 10K walk, which encourages people to fight hunger and poverty around the world, starts at 8 a.m. near the marina. Details here.

The League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area and the Mason District Council of Community Associations will host a candidate meet and greet Thursday at Annandale United Methodist Church, located at 6935 Columbia Pike.
