1 Dead, 1 Critically Hurt In Arlington Crash: Police
A woman was killed and another driver was critically injured Monday in a four-vehicle crash in Arlington, police said.
ARLINGTON, VA — One driver was killed and another driver was critically injured Monday in a four-vehicle crash on Wilson Boulevard, according to Arlington County police.
Investigators said the driver of a pickup truck was eastbound on Wilson Boulevard at a high rate of speed about 2:40 p.m. when they struck a white sedan as it turned onto the street from North Vermont Street.
The impact from the crash sent the pickup and sedan into two other vehicles that were stopped at the traffic light at Wilson Boulevard and North Glebe Road, a police news release said.

The drivers of the pickup truck and the sedan were taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Police said the woman who drove the sedan was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Her name is being withheld pending notification of family.

The driver of the pickup truck, an adult male, remains hospitalized with critical injuries.
