2 Shot In Crystal City Office Building: Police
Police are on the scene after a shooting at a Crystal City office building Wednesday.

ARLINGTON, VA — Two people were shot inside a Crystal City office building this past week in what may have been an incident of domestic violence, according to reports.
The Arlington County Police Department tweeted at 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday that there had been a shooting in the 1500 block of Crystal Drive, and urged everyone to avoid the area.
Police tweeted at 12:49 p.m. that they were dispatched to "multiple 911 calls" at around noon "regarding an individual who had gained entry to a commercial building." They added that two people suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police also said they do not believe there to be any active threat to the building and all involved parties have been identified. However, they did not indicate if anyone had been arrested.
Police announced at 1:17 p.m. that the shelter in place had been lifted, and the shooting was confined to one particular area of the building.

ARLnow.com reports that the two people shot were a woman and the male shooter, and that this may have been a domestic violence situation, citing scanner traffic.
At this time there is not believe to be any active threat to the building and all involved parties have been identified. Police continue to investigate and conduct a methodical search of the building. Continue to avoid the area.
