Arlington Mill Stabbing Leads To Malicious Wounding Charges: Police
An Arlington man and a male teen were arrested in connection to a stabbing that occurred Friday night in Arlington Mill, police say.
ARLINGTON, VA — A 25-year-old Arlington man and an unnamed teen are facing malicious wounding charges in connection to a stabbing that took place Friday night in Arlington Mill, authorities say.
Officers from the Arlington County Police Department responded around 10:19 p.m. for the report of a stabbing in the 800 block of South Arlington Mill Drive.
"Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim exited his parked vehicle when he was approached by three male suspects who allegedly physically assaulted him and struck him several times with a knife, causing lacerations," according to the incident report.

The officers administered first aid to the victim until the arrival of emergency medical personnel, who transported him to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
Through their investigation, officers located two suspects in connection to the case, 25-year-old Jacobo Orellana Turcios of Arlington and an unnamed teen, police reported. Orellana Turcios was charged with malicious wounding and obstruction of justice. Investigators filed petitions for the juvenile male suspect on the same charges.

Orellana Turcios was arraigned in Arlington General District Court on Monday morning and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 17, according to court records.
The malicious wounding charge is a Class 3 felony. Under the Code of Virginia, Orellana Turcios faces a potential penalty of five to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.
The obstruction of justice charge is a Class 1 misdemeanor, which is punishable by up to one year in jail and/or fines up to $2,500, under Virginia law.
