Armed Suspects Rear-End Vehicle In Arlington, Threaten Victim With Gun: Police
Two suspects in black ski masks stole jewelry from a motorist in Arlington after rear-ending his vehicle and threatening him with a gun.
ARLINGTON, VA — Two suspects in black ski masks stole jewelry from a motorist in Arlington early Friday morning after rear-ending his vehicle and threatening him with a gun, according to police.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Arlington County police were dispatched to S. Arlington Ridge Road at 23rd Street S. in the Aurora Hills neighborhood in response to a report of a robbery.
When they arrived at the scene, police learned that the male victim was stopped at a traffic light when the suspects’ vehicle rear-ended his vehicle. The victim got out of his vehicle and approached the suspects’ car.

Both suspects got out of their car and one of them pushed the victim to the ground, and the other suspect threatened the victim with a gun and demanded his belongings, police said. The victim gave the suspects his jewelry, and then they fled the scene in their black sedan, according to police.
The victim suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention, police said.

The suspect who pushed the victim to the ground is described as a Black male wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black ski mask with long dreadlocks, according to police. The suspect who threatened the victim with a gun and demanded his belongings is described as a skinny-build Black male wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black ski mask, police said.
