5-Time World Barbecue Champion Myron Mixon To Open Eatery

Myron Mixon Pitmaster BBQ is expected to open this fall at 2670 Avenir Place in Vienna, where District BBQ was located. Mixon, who has been called the "winningest man in barbecue," has won over 180 grand championships in barbecue, including the Memphis in May World Championships five times.

New App Lets Residents Upload Public Art Images

ArtsFairfax has created a new interactive app that lets residents explore public art across the county and share any public art they come across. The Public Art Locator, the first of its kind in Fairfax County, gives users the ability to upload images and provide written descriptions of public art and lets user filter public art by category and supervisor district in the county
