In Ballston, The Front Page won a 2012 Readers’ Choice Award from Patch readers for having an exceptional brunch menu. (It’s all-you-can-eat, too, so go hungry.) Also in the Ballston area, Mike’s Café has gotten favorable reviews from Yelp! Users.
In Shirlington, Carlyle is high on the list among Yelp reviewers —if you can get a table. One reviewer said, “The brunch options are delicious. I must say the french toast, trout and crab cakes are the best brunch items and don't forget the ozzie rolls."

Busboys and Poets in Shirlington has also gotten positive reviews for breakfast, offering both vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Twisted Vines at 2803 Columbia Pike also got good reviews for generous portions and bottomless mimosas during brunch.
