Carjacking At Knifepoint Reported In Crystal City: Police
Arlington County police are investigating a carjacking in which two men stole a man's keys at knifepoint in Crystal City on Tuesday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — Two men with knives threatened another man before taking his keys by force and driving off with his vehicle early Tuesday morning in Crystal City, according to police.
Arlington County police officers responded around 2:32 a.m. to the 2300 block of South Eads Street for the report of a stolen vehicle.
"The male victim was walking towards his parked vehicle when he was approached by two male suspects who displayed knives and demanded his car keys," according to the incident report. "The suspects then knocked the victim to the ground and a struggle ensued during which the suspects stole the victim’s keys and cell phone before fleeing the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated by medics at the scene."

During their investigation, officers recovered the victim's phone and searched the area but failed to locate the vehicle or suspects, according to police.

ACPD described the suspects as two medium-built Black men, standing approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 in height, wearing all-black clothing and face coverings. The The victim’s vehicle is a Lincoln MKZ with Virginia tags.
