Free Wawa Coffee Thursday: Here's How To Get Some Near Arlington
To celebrate its birthday, Wawa will offer free coffee to visitors at all of its stores on Thursday, April 12.

ARLINGTON, VA — There are no Wawas in Arlington, but you can combine your love of coffee and a good deal at the newly opened D.C. Wawa store on Thursday, April 12. That's when the convenience store is recognizing "Wawa Day" to celebrate its birthday.
On "Wawa Day," guests may treat themselves to a free self-serve coffee at any Wawa store, including the spot that just opened in D.C. The store is located at 1111 19th Street NW, between Dupont and Logan circles just a few blocks north of the White House.
Founded April 16, 1964, Wawa opened its first store in Folsom, Pennsylvania. Since then, it has expanded into multiple states, including Florida, Virginia, New Jersey and Delaware as well as Maryland and Washington, D.C.

The first Wawa store sold milk produced in Wawa, Pennsylvania, at a plant started by the Wawa founder's grandfather. "Wawa" is also the Native American word for the Canada goose found in the Delaware Valley around the dairy plant, which is why the company's logo incorporates the bird.
This year the company is flying high, celebrating its 54th birthday. Each person is limited to one coffee of any size, free of charge, as part of the Wawa Day festivities. Find the nearest Wawa stores.
