Indecent Exposure At Ballston Business Lands Arlington Man In Court
Arlington County police arrested a man they say exposed himself inside a Ballston business on Sunday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — A 46-year-old man was arrested for exposing himself inside a Ballston business on Sunday morning, according to Arlington County Police.
Officers responded around 10:44 a.m. to a business in the 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. Police said a man entered the business and exposed himself, before leaving and running off, according to the incident report.
After a lookout was broadcast, officers located a man who fit the description of the suspect in the North Glebe Road and North Randolph Street area and took him into custody, police say. They also learned the suspect, identified as Kevin Banks of an undetermined address, had previously been banned from the business.

Banks was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, trespassing and public intoxication, according to police. He was held without bond.
Banks was scheduled to be arraigned in Arlington General District Court on Monday, according to court records. As of noon on Monday, no date had been set for a preliminary hearing.

The indecent exposure and trespassing charges are Class 1 misdemeanors and each carry a potential penalty of up to one year in county jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500 if convicted, under the Code of Virginia. The public intoxication charge is a Class 4 misdemeanor, which is punishable by a fine of up to $250.
In 2023, Banks was arrested three times in Arlington for indecent exposure, according to court records. While charges were dropped in two of the cases, Banks was found guilty on April 11, 2023, on the third indecent exposure charge. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay $236 in court costs.
On Tuesday, Banks has a preliminary hearing scheduled in Arlington General District Court on a separate public intoxication charge, in connection to an Oct. 3 arrest, according to court records.
