Man Becomes Violent In Arlington Restaurant: Police
Police arrested a man they say was throwing items and threatening staff in an Arlington restaurant.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man attacked a police officer after he was banned from a Ballston restaurant for throwing items and threatening staff, police say.
Police were called to the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive at around 8:32 p.m. on Sept. 11 to a report of a "disorderly subject inside a restaurant who had allegedly been throwing items and threatening staff," according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[T]he business staff requested the subject be banned from the property," the report states. "While speaking with the subject, he threatened an officer and took a defensive stance. While placing him under arrest, the subject became combative, kicked and spit at the officers."

Police arrested 24-year-old Deandre Shuford on charges of assault on police (four counts), disorderly conduct, and failure to ID. He is being held without bond.
