Man With Firearm Commits Armed Robbery In West Arlington: ACPD

Arlington County Police are looking for a man they say used a firearm to commit armed robbery on Tuesday afternoon, reports say.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the area of Powhatan Springs Park, according to authorities.

Officers responded around 1:13 p.m. to investigate the report of an armed robbery in the 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard. A preliminary investigation revealed that a man walked up to the victim and demanded money, showing what appeared to be a firearm, according to police. The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Officers searched the area but failed to locate the suspect, according to police. The suspect was wearing all black clothing and a mask.
