Man With Knife Chases Victim Outside Columbia Pike Business: ACPD
Arlington County police are looking for a suspect they say chased another man outside a business on Columbia Pike early Sunday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating an attempted malicious wounding that occurred early Sunday morning outside a business on Columbia Pike, according to authorities.
Officers responded around 12:39 a.m. to investigate the report of a person with a weapon in the 5200 block of Columbia Pike.
"Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside of a business when the male suspect approached and engaged them in conversation," according to the incident report. "The victim then briefly walked away when the suspect produced a knife and began chasing the victim outside of the business while making threatening statements."

When an employee confronted the man with the knife, he left he area on foot, according to police. The officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported.
Police described the suspect as a Black man, standing approximately 5-foot-10 and weigh about 160 pounds. He was wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt and black pants.
