Man Punches Cop At Arlington County Fair: Police
A man punched an officer after they bumped into each other at the Arlington County Fair on Sunday, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man is behind bars after police say he punched an officer in the face at the Arlington County Fair on Sunday when the two bumped into each other.
The officer was on patrol at the fair -- which takes place each year at Thomas Jefferson Middle School on S. Old Glebe Road -- at around 8:32 p.m. on Aug. 18 when "he and the suspect bumped shoulders," according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"The suspect became angry and struck the officer in the face with a closed fist," the report states.

Police arrested 20-year-old Jaylen Gibson of Forestville, Md. on a charge of assault and battery of a police officer. He is being held without bond.
