ARLINGTON, VA — If you have a major sweet tooth, then a new Arlington bakery may easily become your latest guilty pleasure.

This Saturday, MOLTN Cookies will celebrate its grand opening by giving away free premium Triple Chocolate cookies from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. or until they run out.

According to the company, MOLTN Cookies will operate using a ghost kitchen model, offering a variety of cookies, shakes and other desserts made to order and available for pick-up or delivery.

The cookies will still be warm and the shakes will be cold when they get to the customer, the company said. The shop is located at 6017 Wilson Blvd., inside the unaffiliated Allspice Catering storefront.

“Anyone in the area with a sweet tooth knows how difficult it can be to find a quality selection of desserts late at night” Neal Miglani, one of the owners of MOLTN, said in a news release. “As we watched the ghost kitchen concept take hold in the DMV, we realized we could use the model to fill this need, providing a variety of options when people need them the most.”

The initial menu includes 10 different types of cookies, including s’mores, Reese’s peanut butter, and white chocolate macadamia, as well as several flavors of ice cream for shakes and sundaes. Cookies are available in 6-, 12-, and 24-packs. Corporate and event catering packages are also available.

Delivery is available through moltncookies.com, Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, and Postmates (delivery radius varies by platform). Hours of operation are Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5 p.m.-midnight, and Friday and Saturday 5 p.m.-2 a.m.

“Even before Amazon decided to come in, Arlington was exploding on the scene, and we couldn’t be more excited about opening up shop here,” said Miglani. “The changing demographics and increasing draw for millennials and the Gen Z crowd make this the perfect location for what we’re doing. We are truly grateful for the welcoming response we’ve already received from the community.”
