Police Report Several 'Malicious Wounding' Incidents
A cab driver was assaulted in one of three separate, unrelated incidents in Arlington.

Arlington County Police reported three incidents of malicious wounding between Friday and Sunday.
The incidents are not connected to each other.
In an incident just before 7 a.m. Friday, May 10, in the 4200 block of N. 2nd Road, a verbal argument got a bit out of control and a man was assaulted by three people, according to police reports. The man was stabbed during the incident, and two people from Arlington and one person from Hyattsville, MD were arrested, charged and held without bond.

In a separate incident before dawn on Saturday, May 11, an argument between sisters escalated, and one sister struck the other sister in the head with a coffee mug, according to police. The sister who was hit went to Virginia Hospital Center for staples, police said, and police obtained a warrant for the arrest of the striking sister.
In another incident around 3 a.m. Sunday, May 12, a cab driver reported he was assaulted by two people after they paid their cab fare, according to police. The incident reportedly occured in the 4300 block of N. Carlin Springs Road. The cab driver had a broken jaw and was transported to Virginia Hospital Center, police reported. The suspects fled.
