Signal Problem Causes Chaos For Metro Trains In Arlington
A reported signal problem at Rosslyn caused major disruptions for Metro riders in Arlington on Thursday.

ARLINGTON, VA — People who tried to take the Metro in Arlington on Thursday faced major delays due to a signal problem at the Rosslyn station, according to reports.
WMATA's @Metrorailinfo Twitter account reported just before 8 a.m. that riders should expect delays to National Airport, Vienna, and Wiehle-Reston on the Orange, Silver, and Blue lines due to a signal problem at Rosslyn.
Silver Line riders coming from west of the area had to disembark at Ballston and get on Orange Line trains to continue their trips, while riders approaching from the south on the Blue Line had to transfer onto the Blue and Orange lines at L'Enfant Plaza to get to Rosslyn. There was no train service to Arlington Cemetery at all, with buses requested between Rosslyn and the Pentagon.

My @wmata commute this morning.
1. Took shuttle to Pentagon.
2. Signal problems at pentagon means blue line to Rosslyn not working.
3. Told to take yellow to lenfant so I do.
4. Train on track means we sit in tunnel.
5. Then at Lendant the station is packed Lenfant packed.

@unsuckdcmetro I went one stop. ONE STOP. Too hot to walk the mile and a half in heels. No idea how much a rideshare would be because SURPRISE THERE’S NO INTERNET/SIGNAL. Took me 35 minutes to go from courthouse to rosslyn. I’m sweating in unmentionable places. @wmata
