Stranger Forces His Way Into Woman's Home In Arlington: Police
A man forced his way inside a woman's apartment in Arlington, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA — A woman in Arlington had a frightening ordeal on Monday after a man forced his way into her apartment, police say.
Police were called to the 1900 block of S. Eads Street at around 1:17 p.m. on Sept. 2 to a report of a possible dispute, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[T]he female victim was entering her apartment when an unknown suspect forced his way inside," the report states. "The suspect made threats to the victim and took her cell phone. The victim began to scream and the suspect returned her property before fleeing the scene on foot."

Police searched the area but did not find the suspect. They described him as a "heavy set black male, slightly under 6’0” tall, wearing a brightly colored shirt."
