2025 General Election: More Early Voting Sites Open In Loudoun County
Loudoun County started to offer more early voting sites ahead of the November general election with key state and local races.

ASHBURN, VA — Additional early voting locations for the Nov. 4 general election opened Monday in Loudoun County. The election includes key state races like Loudoun County School Board, governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and House of Delegates.
The Office of Elections and Voter Registration (750 Miller Drive, Suite 150, Leesburg) has been serving as the early voting location since Sept. 19. From Monday, Oct. 20 to Saturday, Nov. 1, four more locations will be open for early voting. An accepted form of ID is required to vote in person in Virginia.
These locations include the Claude Moore Recreation Center (46105 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling, Dulles South Recreation Center (24950 Riding Center Drive, Chantilly), Carver Senior Center (200 E Willie Palmer Way, Purcellville) and Ashburn Recreation and Community Center (21105 Coopers Hawk Drive, Ashburn).

Hours at the four satellite voting locations are:
- Monday, Oct. 20 and 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 28, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 22 and 29, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, October 23 and 30, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, October 24 and 31, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, October 25 and November 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Extended hours on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 28 until 7 p.m.
- Extended hours on Thursday, Oct. 23 and 30 until 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What's on the ballot will vary by precinct. All Loudoun County voters will have Virginia governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general as well as a Virginia House of Delegates seat on the ballot. It also includes Loudoun County bond questions on school projects, parks and recreation and public safety projects, and transportation projects on the ballot.
Some districts — Algonkian, Broad Run, Dulles, Leesburg and Sterling — will have Loudoun County School Board seats on the ballot. The Loudoun County School Board has moved to staggered terms, which is why five of the nine seats are up for election in 2025. The Towns of Middleburg and Round Hill elections are on the ballot within those towns.
For voters seeking a mail ballot, the deadline to request one is coming up at 5 p.m. on Oct. 24. To vote by mail, voters can apply through the Virginia Department of Election website with information like their Virginia Driver’s License or DMV-issued ID card, Social Security number, date of birth, address and contact information. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4 and received by noon Friday on the Friday following the election.
The deadline for voter registration or updating your information is also Oct. 24. However, same-day registration is available in Virginia beyond the registration deadline, allowing voters to cast a provisional ballot. Check your registration status or register to vote through the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal. Voters may also print and mail a paper voter registration application to the Office of Elections, 750 Miller Drive SE, Suite 150, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Voters casting their ballot on Election Day can head to their assigned polling place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Use the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal to find your polling place. An acceptable form of ID is required to vote in person.
