
Joseph Adams Lamb, 45, of Sterling, VA, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, as a result of lung cancer.
Joe was born Tuesday, July 11, 1967, in Alexandria, VA. He was a son of the late Rives Maupin Lamb and the late Lucille Catherine Adams. He was also predeceased by his beloved Donna Moshier.
He was a graduate of Broad Run High School and was employed by Guernsey Office Products supervising drivers.

Joe was an avid guitar player and performed in several local bands including, but not limited to, The RPM’s, Cactus Liquors, Laughing Man, Drivin’ Blind, and Jameson Green.
Joe leaves to cherish his memory his loving brother Michael Adams Lamb, sister-in-law Angie Lamb, and nephew Derek Chirillo, of Charles Town, WV.

A memorial service for friends and family to celebrate Joe’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 43987 John Mosby Highway, in Chantilly, VA, with the Pastor Justin White officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society online.
