Karen Ann Ebersole, 55

Karen Ann Ebersole, 55, of Leesburg, VA, since 1975, died suddenly Thursday, May 9, 2013, in Falls Church, VA.

Ms. Ebersole was born Sept. 30, 1957, in Mount Pleasant, PA. Ms. Ebersole was a dedicated, hard-working woman who had been with Fairfax Radiological Consultants since 1998 where she served as Senior Director of Patient Accounts. She was a well-respected member and an admired leader in her professional community. In addition to serving on the Loudoun County Community Service Board, Ms. Ebersole loved spending time working in her gardens and was a devoted member of her family whom she dearly loved.

Ms. Ebersole is survived by her beloved children: Christine Hamm of Dahlonega, GA, John S. Ebersole Jr. of Leesburg; her parents: Dorothea J. and John A. Lineberry Sr. of Aldie, VA; her siblings: Kathy Ann Orr of Nokesville, VA, and John A. “Jack” Lineberry Jr. of Harpers Ferry, WV; the fathers of her children: Darrel Hamm of Lebanon Church, VA, and John S. Ebersole Sr. of Harpers Ferry, WV, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE in Leesburg. A mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 55 Oak Crest Manor Drive, in Leesburg. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Leesburg.
