Ronald Daniel Martino, 76

Mr. Ronald Daniel Martino, 76, of Leesburg, VA, passed away March 13, 2013.

Ronald was born Jan. 31, 1937, in Altoona, PA. He was a son of the late Marion E. Martino and the late Mary Madeline Labriola Martino.

Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army and the National Guard.

He was a graduate of Penn State where he received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

Ronald worked with Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical as a Sales Director for 43 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia Ann Martino; daughters, Jacqueline Ann Martino, of Pittsburgh, PA, and Cynthia Lee and son-in-law David Roland Fontaine of Washington, DC; three grandchildren: Michael David, Gianluca David, and Antonio David all Fontaine.

Mr. Martino was predeceased by his son David Ronald Martino in 1984.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, in Leesburg.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 55 Oak Crest Manor Drive, in Leesburg.

Entombment services will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Calvary Cemetery Columbarium, 2417 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, in Altoona.
