
William Robert “Bob” Hoskinson, 64, of Leesburg, VA, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Hoskinson was born Sept. 13, 1948, in East Liverpool, OH, to the late William F. and Betty Hoskinson. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Buffalo and his MBA from Canisius College, Buffalo, NY. He was a Principle Engineer with M.C. Dean in Dulles, VA.
Mr. Hoskinson received an Eagle Scout badge while a student at Scotia-Glenville High School. He continued to support scouting as his son's scout leader with Troop #57 in Gladstone, NJ. He was active in youth soccer in Ridgefield, CT, as a coach, referee and club officer. He was also a Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council 6831 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg. He loved skiing, sailing, gardening, traveling, doing puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Hoskinson is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Catherine Ann Hoskinson of Leesburg; a daughter, Kristen Francis and son-in-law Chad of Lawrenceville, GA; a son, Keith Hoskinson and fiancee Jennifer Williams of Blacksburg, VA; two brothers, James F. Hoskinson and Richard J. Hoskinson, both of Scotia, NY; two sisters, Mary Catherine Greene of Amsterdam, NY, and Ann Lynn Felzer of Everett, WA; granddaughter McKenna; and several nieces and nephews.
