Ashburn Native Wins Miss Vermont USA, Advances To National Competition
Ashburn native Victoria Chuah became the first Chinese American to win Miss Vermont USA as well as Miss Virginia several years ago.

ASHBURN, VA — An Ashburn native is making history with her Miss Vermont USA win, becoming the first Chinese American to earn the Miss Vermont title. Victoria Chuah will advance to the Miss USA pageant during the week of Oct. 18 in Reno, Nevada.
"I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be representing Vermont at Miss USA," said Chuah. "But no matter where life takes me, Ashburn will always be home. Growing up here taught me the importance of community, hard work, and believing in yourself. Those values shaped who I am and gave me the confidence to step onto the Miss USA stage ready to make a difference."
Chuah was also the first Chinese American to win Miss Virginia in 2022. As part of that national Miss America competition, she won the women in STEM scholarship.
