Bank Robbery In Loudoun County Leads To Arrest
The sheriff's office has located and arrested a suspect in an armed bank robbery.

STERLING, VA — A bank robbery suspect was arrested and charged by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Thursday.
The arrest stems from a May 21 armed bank robbery in Sterling. The robbery happened around 3 p.m. on May 21 in the 20000 block of Davenport Drive, which is where a Bank of America location is. The sheriff's office said the suspect entered the building, displayed a weapon and demanded money. The suspect had fled the scene in a gray Ford Escape with no tags, and the sheriff's office said the suspect was wanted.
On Thursday, the sheriff's office arrested David Martinez Peralta, 24, of Sterling and charged him with robbery, abduction, and wearing a mask in public. He was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and is being held without bond. The sheriff's office says the Fairfax County Police Department provided assistance.
