  1. Virginia's Senate delegate, John Bell, will not be running for reelection due to his recent cancer diagnosis. Delegate Suhas Subramanyam has announced to run for the same district, where Bell would have run for reelection. (Loudoun Times-Mirror)
  2. Lufthansa flight LH469 made an emergency landing at Dulles with seven passengers being hospitalized for minor injuries. Severe turbulence caused airline pilots to make the landing out of an abundance of caution. The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating the incident.(Patch)
  3. Comstock has partnered with Dulles Greenway to host Run the Greenway at Loudoun Station this year. The third annual race will be happening on Saturday, May 6. There will be 5K, 10K, and 800-meter Kids Fun races, as well as a virtual participation option. (Business Wire)
