Belmont Ridge Road Widening Near Completion In Loudoun County
A widened section of Belmont Ridge Road is open, but drivers should expect daytime lane closures through December.

ASHBURN, VA — A widening project on a portion of Belmont Ridge Road in Loudoun County is nearly completed, but some work may continue through December.
Belmont Ridge Road, one of the key north-south routes in the county, was widened between Truro Parish Drive and Croson Lane. The two-lane rural road is now a four-lane suburban road with a median divider and shared-use paths on each side for pedestrians and bicyclists.
According to the county, northbound and southbound lanes on Belmont Ridge Road and most intersections are open, including the intersections at Croson Lane, Cochrans Lock Drive, Alford Road, Reservoir Ridge Place, Mount Hope Road, Waxpool Road, Truro Parish, and Black Angus Drive. The shared-use path between Parish Road (Tillet Park) and Croson Lane (Brambleton Park) is open as well.
