Bomb Threats At Business Lead To Charges For Sterling Man
A man has been charged with bomb threats, which the fire marshal's office said he made from inside the location.
STERLING, VA — Bomb threats to a building in Sterling have led to charges for a man, according to the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Fire Marshal's Office.
The fire marshal's office had responded around 7:06 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 to the 45400 block of Holiday Drive to investigate two bomb threat calls. The calls had indicated there was a bomb inside the business. The investigation determined the suspect made calls from inside the business.
Jake Kerata, 39, of Sterling, was taken into custody on Sept. 3 and charged with two counts of threats to bomb or damage buildings or means of transportation, false information as to danger to such buildings. He was held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
