Business Robbery In Ashburn Leads To Search For Suspect

A suspect is being sought by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office for a robbery at a business in Ashburn.

ASHBURN, VA — A suspect is being sought after an August robbery in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The commercial robbery happened on Aug. 16 in the 43000 block of Junction Plaza in Ashburn. According to the sheriff's office, the suspect approached the store clerk outside the store and demanded money. Inside, the suspect forced the clerk to open a cash register. The suspect fled with stolen cash and other items from the store.

The sheriff's office did not indicate if a weapon was involved.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man wearing a black balaclava with white writing, a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black tennis shoes.
