Crime Report: 21-Year-Old Charged with Auto Theft in Ashburn
Torres-Vaca, from Sterling, Va, was charged with two counts of auto theft, one count of driving on a suspended driver's license.
From Loudoun County Sheriff's Office: The victim reported on December 28th that their light blue 1995 Toyota Tercel was stolen. On January 5th, the victim observed their vehicle in the area of Fairway Dr., Sterling The vehicle was stopped by deputies near the area of Nokes Blvd and Ridgetop Dr. The suspect was identified as Roberto C. Torres-Vaca, 21, of Sterling, Va.
During the course of the investigation it was determined that the suspect was involved in another theft of a vehicle on S. Concord Ct. on December 7th . Torres-Vaca was arrested and charged with two counts of auto theft and one count of driving on a suspended driver’s license. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without a bond.
