Deep-Discount Retailer Coming To Sterling

STERLING, VA—A new deep-discount retailer is headed to town, and this one boasts of its expansive line of brand-name offerings. Say hello to Ollie's Bargain Outlet, off Route 7 in Signal Hill Plaza next to La-Z-Boy Furniture in the former Babies R Us space. It'll swing open its doors 9 a.m. March 6.

It bills itself as "one of America's largest retailers of closeout merchandise and excess inventory," with more than 300 stores nationwide. Ollie's offers a bit of everything, including housewares, flooring, sporting goods and food.
