1 In Custody After 'Disorderly' Subject In Ashburn Home
Some residents in the Belmont Greene Community were asked to stay inside their homes until the situation was resolved.

ASHBURN, VA — One person was taken into custody in Loudoun County after authorities responded to a home in Ashburn where a "disorderly subject" was alone inside and possibly armed, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office originally responded to the home in the 20200 block of MacGlashan Terrace in the Belmont Greene Community for a gunfire complaint.
"As there is a possible weapon inside the home, residents in the immediate area are asked to stay inside their homes and avoid the area," the sheriff's office said in an emailed statement.

The situation has since ended. The sheriff's office said charges are pending against the person who has been taken into custody.
There is no threat to the community but residents can expect to see a law enforcement presence as the investigation continues.
