Donald Trump Kicks Crying Baby Out Of Rally

"You can get the baby out of here," he said from the podium.

Donald Trump has attacked a lot of people during his fiery campaign: a Vietnam War POW, presidents current and former, the family of a fallen American soldier, Supreme Court justices, mayors, governors, senators, congressmen, world leaders, even the pope.

He added another class to that list Tuesday: babies. Or did he?

After all, he said very seriously only a week ago that he wanted the Russians to cyberattack the United States, then later pretended he was only joking.

So, take this as you will, but here's what happened Tuesday.

At a campaign rally in Ashburn, Virginia, the Republican nominee was in the middle of a lecture on the Chinese when a baby started crying, loudly.

Trump sought to reassure the mother, surely distraught at her screaming child interrupting a presidential rally.

"I love babies. I hear that baby cry, I like it," Trump said. "What a baby. What a beautiful baby. Don't worry, don't worry. The mom's running around, like, don't worry about it, you know. It's young and beautiful and healthy, and that's what we want."

Then, it was back to China.

Until the baby started screaming again. Trump had apparently had enough.

"Actually, I was only kidding, you can get the baby out of here," he said, as the crowd laughed in approval.

"I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I'm speaking. That's OK. People don't understand. That's OK."

Watch the exchange here:

We aren't 100 percent sure whether the ejection was politically motivated or not. Babies haven't really seemed to enjoy Trump's campaign too much thus far:
