Donations Sought For Loudoun Hospital's 86th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale

Have items to clean out of the house? The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking donations ahead of its massive rummage sale.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Ahead of a long-running rummage sale to support Inova Loudoun Hospital causes, donations are being accepted.

The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital will accept donations for the 86th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Locations for donations are Inova Loudoun Hospital, 44045 Riverside Parkway in Lansdowne; Inova Loudoun Medical Campus (Cornwall), 224 Cornwall Street in Leesburg; and Loudoun Valley High School, 340 N Maple Ave. in Purcellville.

Items being accepted include antiques, certain books, DVDs, Blue Rays, records, certain clothing and accessories, certain electronics, certain furniture, holiday items and crafts, certain households goods, jewelry, lamps and pictures, linens, pet supplies, certain sporting goods, tools, toys. Items not accepted include certain kinds of clothing, books, electronics, furniture, household goods and sporting goods as well as all car seats and cribs. The Ladies Board Rummage Sale will follow on Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Loudoun County Fairgrounds, 17558 Dry Mill Road in Leesburg. Net proceeds will support Inova Loudoun Hospital and the Ladies Board Nursing Scholarship Fund. The Ladies Board fundraises several hundred thousands dollars per year to support special needs equipment at the hospital. It has also awarded $2.5 million in nursing scholarships.

Admission to the sale will be free during general hours on Oct. 18 and 19. A VIP shopping experience will be offered on Friday, Oct. 17. Shoppers are encouraged to get VIP tickets early before they sell out.
