Drug Dealing Operation Investigated As Ashburn Man Faces Charge
The sheriff's office found cocaine, suspected fentanyl pills and more drug-related items following the Ashburn man's arrest.

ASHBURN, VA — An Ashburn man is facing a charge related to cocaine distribution, and additional charges are possible after numerous drugs and other drug trafficking items were seized during search warrants.
On Sept. 19, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office had obtained an arrest warrant for James Lamarr McTillman, 39, of Ashburn, and two search warrants. Law enforcement found he had 1.5 ounces of powder cocaine on hand. McTillman was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance and is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
During search warrants executed at two Ashburn locations, authorities found 5.73 kilograms of crack cocaine; 0.18 kilograms of cocaine; 18.35 pounds of marijuana; a pound of psilocybin mushrooms; about 150 suspected fentanyl pills; 10 to 15 ounces of liquid PCP; $4,418, three guns; ammunition; a gun silencer; materials indicating a robbery kit like flex cuffs, bear spray, taser, and a manipulated security badge; surveillance devices to include GPS trackers and RF detectors, evidence of a marijuana growing operation; and equipment used to manufacture crack cocaine.

Additional charges are pending. The sheriff's office detectives are consulting with the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney and federal authorities.
"The scope of this seizure underscores the serious threat that is posed by regional and national drug distribution networks," said Sheriff Mike Chapman in a statement. "We will stop at nothing to dismantle any drug trafficking operation that sets up shop in Loudoun County."
