Former NFL Player-Founded D1 Training To Open At Ashburn's Loudoun Station

The latest offering at the mixed-use development will be a fitness center founded by a former NFL player.

ASHBURN, VA — The Loudoun Station development near the Ashburn Metro is gaining another tenant.

Loudoun Station owner Comstock announced that D1 Training signed a lease at 43800 Central Station Drive, Ashburn, VA. D1 Training is a fitness center franchise founded in 2001 by former NFL player Will Bartholomew. The fitness center and membership-based gym provides training to athletes of all ages and skill levels. That includes group workouts, semi-private sessions and one-on-one coaching led by expert coaches.

"D1 Training at Loudoun Station will be a place where people of all ages and fitness levels can train like athletes and feel like part of a team," said Matt Toy, D1 Training’s vice president of marketing. "We’re bringing our proven training system, built on Division I strength and conditioning principles, to the heart of Loudoun County to help our members push past their goals, build confidence, and connect with a community that’s here to cheer them on."

D1 Training has more than 100 locations around the U.S. Other Virginia locations are in Alexandria, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Midlothian.
