ASHBURN, VA—The son of Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden was arrested early Sunday after being involved in three separate confrontations in the area of Exchange Street and Thorndike Street, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Following the One Loudoun incidents, Jack A. Gruden, 22, of Leesburg, was charged with drunk in public. He's a video assistant with the team.

A deputy initially saw Gruden in an argument with another man, after which they separated. But Gruden followed the other man to continue the confrontation, and the deputy had to intervene. After that, Gruden was later involved in two additional confrontations with customers in the area, ultimately leading to his arrest.

He was near the area where Redskins safety Montae Nicholson was arrested for assault last December. In a statement, Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie said that "We area aware of the arrest of Jack Gruden, we are gathering information and will not comment until we have further details."
