- Loudoun County Public Schools is hosting a series of fentanyl awareness sessions, which comes after an increase in reported deaths in and around Loudon County. Recent reports indicated that several counties in Virginia, including Arlington, Loudoun, and Prince William, have experienced fatal overdoses due to fentanyl-laced drugs, prompting community members to seek training and education on how to deal with this ongoing issue. There are three remaining sessions available for sign-up. (WUSA9.com)
- PowerHouse Data Centers and DPR Construction are 50 percent finished with ABX-1 construction, and are in celebration of the positive impacts to come. Buddy Rizer, the Executive Director of Economic Development, says economic growth in Loudoun County will be "immeasurable." (InvestorsObserver)
- The Loudoun County Health Department has conducted in-person and virtual inspections of restaurants in the Ashburn area, recording violations that can contribute to food contamination. Health inspectors provide corrective action to rectify the observed violations, and a re-inspection can be performed to ensure compliance. Although COVID-19 restrictions have been relaxed, health inspectors continue to monitor restaurant compliance with health and safety guidelines. (Patch)
