LCSO Investigating ‘Apparent Homicide’ in Sterling

A release from the sheriff's office classified it as a domestic incident.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what the department has referred to as an “apparent homicide” on the 21700 block of Blossom Drive in Sterling. The initial report indicates the incident was the result of a domestic dispute, but few details have been released.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a home on the block and found a male inside who had succumbed to his wounds.

The LCSO report indicates more information may be released as it becomes available.
