LCSO Investigating Armed Robbery at High-Up Food Mart in Sterling

Officials are investigating an armed robbery that reportedly took place around noon Friday at Sterling's High-Up Food Mart on Enterprise St.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported armed robbery at Sterling’s High-Up Food Mart, located in the 400 block of Enterprise Street.

The suspect reportedly entered the store shortly after 12:15 Friday before brandishing a firearm and demanding cash. The suspect was described as a 5’10” white or Hispanic man wearing a hoodie and a scarf concealing his face. He was reportedly wearing a North Face jacket and appeared to be wearing a North Face backpack.

Anyone in the area at the time of the robbery who may have seen anything suspicious and did not speak with law enforcement is asked to contact Detective S. Cumberledge of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-0475.

Callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information provided to Loudoun Crime Solvers leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
