Businesses Warned After Break-Ins in Ashburn

Loudoun Sheriff's Office is investigating three recent break-ins where a door is shattered and the cash register is stolen or damaged.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is advising commercial businesses and restaurants to remove all monies from the cash register when the business is closed and leave the registers open to prevent further damage, according to the Sherriff’s office.

This warning comes in light of the three burglaries targeting Asian restaurants in the past few weeks that occurred during the overnight hours

The first break-in was reported on September 11th at the Good Fortune Chinese Restaurant in Junction Plaza in Ashburn, followed by similar burglaries at King’s Buffet in Sterling and Hunan Village Restaurant in Ashburn’s Piccadilly plaza. In all three burglaries, the suspect(s) entered by damaging the glass door and removing money from registers.
