The new dessert shop is part of a revitalization at the Cascades Marketplace, which had significant vacancies in recent years. Other recent business openings include Brasserie Royale from the Local Provisions owners, active gaming experience Activate, French-inspired Korean bakery Paris Baguette, locally-founded taqueria Taco Bamba and Asian fusion restaurant from James Beard Award nominees CHIKO.

Along with the new businesses, there is construction activity at Cascades Marketplace to make sidewalk improvements. The Pax Place at Cascades for-rent townhouses are in the process of opening near the shopping center, and there are plans for more stacked townhouses and regular townhouses on the block where the former Skyzone that closed last year was demolished.
