Loudoun Fire & Rescue Performs Roof Rescue in Leesburg
The man fell on the roof of an FAA building and struck his head.

After a man fell and suffered a head injury Wednesday, Loudoun Fire and Rescue workers performed a rescue operation from the roof of a multi-story building at the Federal Aviation Administration building on East Market Street in Leesburg.
Fire and rescue units in Leesburg responded to the scene around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday where they found a male whose head was wounded.
Once stabilized, rescue workers lowered the man in a Stokes basket using the basket of a ladder truck. Paramedics greeted him on the ground and transported him via helicopter to Inova Fairfax Hospital.
