Loudoun School Bus Driver Assault Of Student Leads To Charge
A school bus driver is facing an assault charge after striking an elementary school student, the sheriff's office said.

STERLING, VA — A Loudoun County Public Schools bus driver was charged after an assault of an elementary school student, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
A sheriff's office investigation found the driver struck the minor student with his hand on a bus assigned to Potowmack Elementary School in Sterling on Oct. 23. The incident was reported to the school resource officer unit the next day.
Allen Jackson, 68, of Sterling, was charged with simple assault and battery, which is a class 1 misdemeanor. Jackson was released on a summons to appear in court.
