Man Dressed As Security Guard Loots 7-Eleven In Sterling: LCSO

Police are looking for a man wearing a security guard uniform who stole items from a 7-Eleven store in Sterling, according to the LCSO.

STERLING, VA—Police are looking for a man wearing a security guard uniform who stole items from a 7-Eleven store Friday morning in the 23500 block of Overland Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He was not keeping watch over and had no association with the involved 7-Eleven.

Around 9:15 a.m., according to an employee, the man walked out of the store with food items and an electronic cigarette. He got into the passenger side of a silver Chevrolet Suburban in the parking lot and left the scene.

He was described as black, muscular and was wearing a black beanie and headphones, along with a black shirt with the word "security" on the front and back in large white letters. He also was wearing a security badge, a baton, black cargo pants and boots. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
