STERLING, VA—A driver was issued a summons Wednesday morning for improper stopping in the 45500 block of westbound Old Ox Road, according to Loudoun County Police. The three passengers, on the other hand, didn't get off so easily—one in particular.

After police approached the vehicle around 7:30 a.m. to find why it was stopped, two passengers immediately got out and fled before being chased down and apprehended. One of them, Joshua W. Booth II, 18, of no fixed address, was found to have a gun in his backpack, as well as hashish oil.

Booth ultimately was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a schedule I substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and simultaneous possession of a schedule I substance and a firearm. He also was served an outstanding warrant out of Fairfax County.

No word on why the vehicle had stopped in the first place.
