Missing Man Sought In South Riding Found Safe: Update

UPDATE: A missing man from the South Riding area has been found safe, according to the LCSO,

UPDATE: Iqbal has been found and is safe, say police.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—Police are looking for a missing man from the South Riding area who may be endangered, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Zafar Iqbal, 69, was last seen 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the 43500 block of Fieldsman Lane.

He is considered endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns. He's described as 5-8, 180 pounds, and was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, navy blue pants and gray shoes. Iqbal was last seen going for a walk and is known to frequent the area of the Eastern Market Plaza. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-1021.
